How do we know that Dinosaurs walked the earth?

• Millions of years ago, dinosaurs evolved before we were around. But now we have discovered the fossil bones of dinosaurs. There were dinosaurs that were around at different times.
• Dinosaurs were lots of different creatures like giant lizards that walked on ground.
• Some dinosaurs ate animals and some dinosaurs ate plants.
• Dinosaurs lay eggs.
• We don’t know what colour skin dinosaurs had.
• Crocodiles were around at the same time as dinosaurs and birds are related to dinosaurs.
• My favourite dinosaur is a Parasaurolophus which ate plants.

The biggest dinosaur is an argentinosaurus,this dinosaur only eats plants.It is 115 feet in length and weighs 73 or more in tonnes.
The biggest meat eating dinosaur is a giganotosaurus carolinii.It is 47 feet long 8 tonnes in weight and 12 feet tall.
The tallest dinosaur is a sauroposeidon it weighs 60 tonnes and is 60 feet tall.
The smallest dinosaur is a composgnathus.It is 2 feet long and only weighs 3 kg.

I know that The dinosaure’s walked on the earth because scientists found the bones of the dinosaurs and put them into the museum.

Dinosors appeared on eath 228 million years ago.All dinosors have scails and eggs like reptiles do today.They lived with erly birds and insecets.A plant called Cycads grew at the dinosors time .It looked like a pineapple.

Dinosaurs ruled the Earth for over 160 million years, from the Triassic period around 230 million years ago through the Jurassic period and until the end of the Cretaceous period around 65 million years ago.The word dinosaur comes from the Greek language and means ‘terrible lizard’.A person who studies dinosaurs is known as a paleontologist.Birds descended from a type of dinosaurs known as theropods.

The biggest dinosaur is a plant eater which is called Argentinosaurs.

Tyrannosaurs Rex is 12 metres long, it has short arms. It is one of the most feared dinosaurs at around 65 million years ago in the Cretaceous period.
Dinosaurs are amazingly huge reptiles.
