Meeting Nick Sharratt

IMG_2545Today Year 2 had the privilege of meeting famous illustrator Nick Sharratt at Manchester Central Library. This event was organised as part of the Read Manchester Campaign. Nick told us all about his work and even showed us some of his amazing drawings. We got signed Tracey Beaker and Mr Pope illustrations from the day to bring back to school. We also had time to look at an exhibition about his life. What a great afternoon it was!

The best bit of the trip was watching Nick Sharret drawing the 4 different types of Tracy Beaker.
