To download, click the “Vimeo” link at the bottom right of the screen. This will take you to the download site. Next scroll down. You should see a grey section in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen which says “download”. You need to register with the website. It’s free and very easy. Once you have done that, you can download away… It will take a while!
Please let me know if you have any problems. Mr Sloan.

2JS Class assembly

We did it! One week until the summer holidays, but weren’t the children great! I am really proud of all of the children in my class, and really sad that they will be leaving on their own voyage into Year 3. Good luck 2JS!

Please tell us what you think of our assembly. What were your favourite bits? What could have been better?
If the video keeps stopping and starting, it is worth “buffering” it for a few minutes first. Press play, then press pause and wait a minute or two. This lets the video load up a bit before you start playing it.

2JS are doing a class assembly in a few weeks. We have been reading Terry Jones’ excellent book Eric The Viking. We are going to try using Voicethread to come up with our own exciting chapter which we can write together and then perform. This is the first step.
Top tip – remember everyone in 2JS needs to be able to join in, so how could we get lots of characters involved?

What should the basic story be? Don’t forget to include the settings, characters, problems and solutions…

2AT Class Assembly

In year 2 this term we have been learning about traditional stories. 2AT have worked extremely hard to learn their lines and develop their performing skills. Can you spot some of the classic fairy tale characters in our class assembly? Miss Tucker and Mrs Albiston
