I’ve been asked to talk to some people about our blog next week. I’d really like to know what people use our blog for.
What do you like about it? How often do you look? Do you comment, post, use the links or just read what other people have done?
Click “Add a sticky” at the bottom of the frame to add your ideas.

Blogging club is changing – an invitation to parents and carers.
Dear Parents/carers
Blogging club is changing. The children in Year 2 are quickly becoming experts and leaving you, the parents and carers, behind.
Now it’s your turn!
The blogging club will no longer run as it has done in the past. We now want YOU to come and learn about using the Chorlton Park Blogs WITH your children. You will learn about what the blogs are for, about internet safety, how to leave comments, write posts and even how to add pictures and video to our blogs.
If you would like learn about blogging, we will be running informal sessions on Tuesdays after school from 3:30-4:00 this half term starting from Tuesday 19th Jan.
Please do come along if you can make it – blogging is a great way for you to communicate with school and it really is fun!
See you there – no need to reply or book, just come and say hello to Mr Sloan or Miss Tucker in the playground next Tuesday after school.
Thanks,
Rachel Tucker and Jack Sloan
Fun in the sun – Singing with 2JS
It was such a lovely afternoon today that we finished our work quickly and went outside to sing some songs. We recorded a round which we are learning called “Come to the Colours”. It is a song by someone called Nico Brown We sung it in 3 parts, but it’s a bit rough and ready. We will try to do a better recording once we have practiced a bit more. What do you think?

Impressive stuff!
Well done Year 2. Today my Blogging club wrote their own posts for the first time. They all did really well. Some children in my class also wrote posts and inserted pictures using Photobucket, and that is seriously HARD! I can’t believe you guys are all 6 or 7 years old. Make sure you all comment on each others’ posts won’t you?
Congratulations,
Mr Sloan.
