Right. School’s out. It’s -4 outside in Chorlton and there is LOTS of snow! Tell us what you have been getting up to by leaving a comment here, or why not have a go at uploading a photo or two? It’s really not that hard, but you will need an adult to help you out. You can find instructions here
I had a great snowball fight with some friends yesterday, and saw Mikey, Milan and Alfie having a great time on their sledges. I also went for a beautiful walk in Chorlton Ees where the snow was really thick and the sunshine was beautiful. Here are some pictures of my walk. Enjoy the snow everyone!

Chorlton Green festival is happening today at St Clement’s Church.
There will be lots to see and do, and chances for you to talk about what you have learned about energy and waste this term.
See you there!

It was such a lovely afternoon today that we finished our work quickly and went outside to sing some songs. We recorded a round which we are learning called “Come to the Colours”. It is a song by someone called Nico Brown We sung it in 3 parts, but it’s a bit rough and ready. We will try to do a better recording once we have practiced a bit more. What do you think?

Well done Year 2. Today my Blogging club wrote their own posts for the first time. They all did really well. Some children in my class also wrote posts and inserted pictures using Photobucket, and that is seriously HARD! I can’t believe you guys are all 6 or 7 years old. Make sure you all comment on each others’ posts won’t you?
Congratulations,
Mr Sloan.
