On Friday 28th May I went to Belarus next to Russia .My grandad was born there in 1920.We saw his village that was destroyed by the Germans in the 2nd world war.We stayed in Minsk the capital city which is very big and there were lots of soldiers.
We also went to a nature park and saw Bison, brown bear, wolves, fox ,wild boar and stork. We rowed a boat on a big lake.I also went fishing. There were lots of moscatoes and I got bit. Everybody spoke Russian and you can’t read their words because their alphabet is strange.I helped make a log fire.It was fun. I rescued a bird that fell from the chimney. I let it free from the cabin and it found it’s mother.
On Wednesday I went on a boat trip and I saw a lot of storks and I saw thousands of dragonflies and some storks nests.
I went to Gorky park and there was a thunderstorm so we couldn’t go on any of the rides . I really liked Belarus.
