On friday evening me and my family drove down to shrewsbury. It took exactly two hours. We were going to see some of our friends which we havent seen for a long time. While we were there we played with Tom and Rosey the dogs. We made a den, we played basketball and we went to the fox inn for sunday lunch. On satuday we went on a long walk. Gordon took us on the wrong route and we ended up in a field of cows. As we walked accross the cow field, soon we realised that the cows were slowly following us. We hurried accross the field and quickly climbed over the gate. I really enjoyed our holiday, but i wish we could have stayed longer.

Our trip to Tatton Park by Arthur
In the holidays my aunt Thrinnie and my two cousins Ruby and Jack came to stay at our house. On Saturday we all went to Tatton Park. Tatton Park was an amazing and enormous place. There was a very big house and in the house there were brilliant sculptures. In the house there were two kitchens. In the first one there were tables with lots of fruit on them. The second one had a very big and old cooker and the cooker had lots of little doors on it and there was a huge big feathery sculpture like a massive snake curling through the doors and slithering out. The massive sculpture had loads and loads of feathery patterns on it from peacocks and pheasants and mallards and other interesting birds. Part of the sculpture looked like this.
There was a huge park with loads and loads of trees like a wood and somewhere in the wood there was a really excellent tree house.
My holiday in London by Rebecca.
On sunday I went to london on the train with my mum. We stayed for three nights in a youth hostel on Oxford street. I went on a bus tour to see very important things and i saw nearly all the people we have learnt about at school like Samuel Pepys, Florence Nightingale, Emmeline Pankhurst,Nelson Mandela and Amelia Earhart.
We climbed 311 steps to the top of the Monument where the Great Fire of London started. We went on a river cruise on the Thames and we could see the London Eye big wheel. We went to the Natural History Museum and saw dinosaur bones and crystals.
We went to see Oliver at the theatre and I had to look through glasses because we were so high up!
I really enjoyed it.
My half term holiday. by Ruby
I went to wales for a week in a holiday cottage with my family. We went to the seaside and saw dead jellyfish. we did lots of crabbing and one day we caught 60 crabs. We walked up some waterfalls and went swimming in the stream. Isaac slid down a waterfall and I rescued his crocs. I liked playing on the beach and me and isaac and poppy dug a long channel for the sea to come in. We splashed in the sea. It was a very good fun holiday.
My favourite parts of the holiday – by John
Last week my cousins came from Italy and I went to the airport to meet them.
I mostly palyed football with my Italian cousin RAffaelli. We beat some older teenagers 10-7 at the park. They looked embarassed and I scored the winning goal.
We were invited to a cricket match by one of my teammates dads on Friday. We packed a picnic and when we got there there was a big football match going on. Then the cricket started but I stayed playing football.
My Italian cousin stayed over and we played lots of games on my Wii. He was quite good at fifa 10. We watched Gohstbuters with Italian subtititles.
On Thursday I got up at 5.30 and went with my dad to collect my brother from Bristol. The journey was long and boring on the way but on the way back it was more amusing. It was fun having Sid here becasue he wanted to play football alot.
On Saturday I went to my unkles wedding there where other children there including raffaelli and my brother sid.
that made it much more fun. my unkle James was not very good at talking during the ceremony and he got a fit of the giggles.
After the ceremony we played football with a boy called Harvey. We then had fun in the hotel and went home very late. We stayed there for nine hours. Finbar looked exhausted when we had one more hour to go.
I am going to finish my fun holiday by going to the Socceraid match where legends and celebritiees will be playing football. I hope I am not too tired for school in the morning!!
My holiday by Emily
On tuesday I went camping in the york shire dales with my cousins Amy and Daniel and their Mum and Dad. We put up our tents next to one another and I helped put the pods in. Dad cooked us all sausages on the gas ring and then I helped my Mum wash up in the big sinks. We all went into the ball field and played football. After that me, Mum and my sisters went to get a hot chocolate or cocoamilk from the machine. When we got there for the hot chocolate, all that came out was hot water so we tried the cocoa milk but all there was was milk and hot water. I wouldn’t have minded if it was just milk but I think in the water it is supposed to be chocolate. So we went back to the tent and made hot milk. Then we went to sleep.
The next day when we got up the sun was shining so we had breakfast outside. For breakfast we had toast. After that we set off to Malham Cove; it was very exciting. Before we had the picnic me and Mum went and sat on the cove. When we came back, my Dad, my sisters and Amy wanted to have a go too so they went to the cove; when they got there my Dad thought they could climb to the first ledge. After that we came down and Daniel wanted to have a dip in the cold river and so did we. I had a paddle in the rive r while my Mum was dipping Daniel’s little feet into the water; he was smiling and laughing. I think he liked it. We all had a doughnut.
We walked down to the village to do the ’safari walk’ which was where you had to find model animals and match them to the clues. Halfway through, Rachel and Hannah had a go at the coconut shy; when it was their last turn, Hannah said Rachel could do it and Rachel won a coconut.
We went back to the car and drove back to the campsite. That day we had an ice cream and we bought some hot chocolate powder so that we could make our own that evening. Before we went to bed we brushed our teeth.
Next day (which was Thursday) we drove to Linton Falls and when we were coming back after walking up the hill, Daniel lost his teddyand Hannah went to find it. She found it near a rabbit.
We went back to the car and drove to Burnsall. There we had a paddle and another ice cream. It was fun. At the end of that it was time to go home so we said goodbye and drove off. I was so tired after my jam-packed two days of camping I fell asleep in the car.

A trip to the seaside
Yesterday i went to fleetwood because my big sister Rachel was at swim camp in Rossall. We went on the beach and made a big sandcastle. It was very exciting. Afterwards we went to see rachel in a gala. There was a team meeting and then we saw rachel’s room.
