What is your dream for the world?

Posted by Mr Sloan on 1st March 2010

Here is a video of Martin Luther King Jr making his most famous speech. He worked to end the racism and unfair treatment that he saw in the USA last century. What is your dream for the world? What do you feel is unfair about the way that we all live. What could we do to make the world a better, fairer and more happy place? Leave a comment to let us know.

2JS Class assembly ideas. What do you think?

Posted by Mr Sloan on 8th June 2009

2JS are doing a class assembly in a few weeks. We have been reading Terry Jones’ excellent book Eric The Viking. We are going to try using Voicethread to come up with our own exciting chapter which we can write together and then perform. This is the first step.
Top tip – remember everyone in 2JS needs to be able to join in, so how could we get lots of characters involved?

What should the basic story be? Don’t forget to include the settings, characters, problems and solutions…
